How to use the tool
- Choose the marketplace. Suggestions differ between Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, and other marketplaces.
- Enter a short seed keyword, for example "yoga mat".
- Click Get suggestions. The tool types the seed into Amazon search one character at a time, then tries "seed a" to "seed z".
What suggest depth means
Depth is the number of characters typed before Amazon first suggested a phrase. If "yoga mat" appears after typing "yoga m", its depth is 6. Phrases that appeared only during the a–z expansion are marked "a–z".
Lower depth usually means a more popular search: Amazon offers it to shoppers early because many people pick it. Depth and search volume answer different questions. Volume estimates how many searches happen; depth shows how strongly Amazon itself pushes the phrase.
How to use the list
- Title and bullets: pick the low-depth phrases that describe the product exactly.
- Backend search terms: add synonyms and long-tail variants that don't fit in the visible copy.
- Rank tracking: send the phrases that matter to the keyword rank checker, or track them daily.
- Product research: suggestions show how shoppers describe a need, including features and audiences you may not cover yet.
Only phrases that contain every word of the seed are kept, so the list stays on topic. Where AMZTarget already knows the search volume of a phrase, it is shown next to it.
From one seed to a full keyword list
A seed shows one slice of demand. To start from a product instead, use the Reverse ASIN lookup: it reads a listing and finds the phrases that describe it, then expands them with the same Amazon suggestions.
FAQ
Is this Amazon keyword tool free?
Yes. You can run several seeds a day without signing up. Recent seeds are served from cache.
Where do the suggestions come from?
From Amazon's own autocomplete on the marketplace you choose, collected live when you run the tool.
Are the suggestions personalized?
Amazon can adjust suggestions by location and history. The tool uses a neutral session, so results are comparable between runs.
Why are some phrases marked "a–z"?
They did not appear while the seed was being typed, only after a letter was added to it, for example "yoga mat t". These are usually long-tail searches.
Which marketplaces are supported?
Amazon.com (USA), Amazon.co.uk (UK), Amazon.ca (Canada), Amazon.com.mx (Mexico), and Amazon.com.br (Brazil).
