Amazon Keyword Rank Checker

Enter an ASIN and a keyword to see the product's organic position in live Amazon search results. Sponsored ads are skipped, so the number is the real organic slot.

How to check a keyword rank

  1. Choose the marketplace where the product sells.
  2. Paste the ASIN or the full Amazon product link.
  3. Type the keyword the way a shopper would search for it.
  4. Click Check rank. The check reads live Amazon search pages and usually takes 20–60 seconds.

You can check any public ASIN, including a competitor's. No Seller Central access is needed, because search results are public.

How to read the result

  • Organic position #N on page P. The product appears in the unpaid results. Amazon numbers results across pages, so #27 on page 2 means the 27th organic result overall.
  • Not in the first three pages. The product was not found in the organic results the checker read. It may rank deeper, or it may not be indexed for the phrase at all. The keyword index checker answers the second question.
  • Shown only in an ad or a carousel. The ASIN appears on the page, but only as a Sponsored result or inside a widget. That is visibility you pay for, not organic rank.

Why your rank may look different in your browser

Amazon search depends on the delivery location, the device, and the shopper's history. Two people can see a different order for the same query at the same moment. The checker searches from a consistent setup for each marketplace, with a delivery postal code applied, so repeated checks are comparable even when a single manual search is not.

Variations matter too. Amazon often shows one color or size of a product in search, and it may not be the one you entered. The free checker looks for the exact ASIN only; the rank tracker counts a position when any variation of the product appears.

One check is a snapshot

Rank moves every day with sales, price, stock, and competitors' changes. A single check tells you where the product stands right now. To see whether a drop is a blip or a trend, you need the same keyword checked on a schedule with history, which is what the free AMZTarget account does for up to five keywords.

FAQ

Is the Amazon rank checker free?

Yes. You can run a few checks a day without signing up. A keyword you checked recently is shown from cache for a few hours, so repeated checks of the same phrase don't count again.

Does the checker count Sponsored results?

No. Sponsored Products and other ad placements are skipped. The position is the organic one.

How deep does it search?

It reads the first three pages of results, where nearly all clicks happen. If the product is deeper than that, the result says it was not found in those pages.

Which marketplaces can I check?

Amazon.com (USA), Amazon.co.uk (UK), Amazon.ca (Canada), Amazon.com.mx (Mexico), and Amazon.com.br (Brazil).

Why does it say "not found" when I can see my product?

You may be seeing a different variation of the same product, a Sponsored placement, or results personalized to your location. Check the variation ASIN, or track the product to have all variations counted.

Can I check where a competitor ranks?

Yes. Any public ASIN works, so you can compare your position with a competitor's for the same keyword.
